Therapeutic Reflexology

Reflexology is a blend of science and art, based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all of the glands, organs, and zones in the body. It is a unique method of stimulating nerve endings by gently pressing with the thumb and fingers. Reflexology helps promote relaxation and assists the body’s natural healing processes.
After harm from injury or stress, the body experiences pain, fatigue, stiffness, weakness, inflammation, constipation, anxiety, and more. Muscles in the body secrete acid that crystallizes around and over nerve endings at reflex areas – a condition called “congestion” in reflexology.
When pressure is applied to the reflex, the congestion is broken up, restoring the nerve circulation to the affected glands, organs, and parts of the body. This manipulation relieves the condition and restores the body to its natural state.
Working together, we identify painful reflex points and manipulate the reflex until it is pain-free, and then the body can heal itself.
Reflexology improves these common conditions:
● Bowel problems ● Cardiovascular circulation ● Headaches ● Insomnia ● Joint and muscle pain ● Lymph circulation ● Menstrual problems ● Migraines ● Nerve pain ● Respiratory problems ● Skin problems ● Stress, anxiety, and tension ●
