Uplifting Flower essential oils are similar to flower remedies because they work on the spirit. We know they are excellent cell regenerators for skin problems, scar tissue, wounds and burns. We also know they are ideal for dealing with everyday stress, because they relax and soothe. They often are used in beauty preparations.
A few of my favorites are Geranium, Lavender, Rose, Ylang Ylang, and Roman Chamomile,. Some characteristics I enjoy about each of these essential oils are how they help to harmonize, balance and raise our frequency. I love to use them in personal blends I create . Geranium promotes stability, balance and a sense of calm and tranquility. It helps release negative memories as it regenerates tissue and opens the liver to discharge toxins . Lavender balances and harmonizes all systems of the body. It is uplifting and relieves all varieties of stress and anxiety. Rose Damask oil is effective for depression, anger, grief, and other emotional problems like sadness and loss. It may boost poor circulation, is calming to the heart, and stimulating to the liver and skin. In skin preparations it is particularly beneficial for dry, mature, and sensitive skin.
Ylang Ylang may help with releasing feelings of anger, tension and nervous anxiety.
Roman Chamomile is especially valuable for restlessness or nervous tension.
Every week I am amazed at all the wonderful testimonials I hear about Healthy Girls Breast Oil, Women have commented on how they love the beautiful scent and the new clear Jojoba oil in the blend. The testimonials include using it for scars, dark spots on the skin, bumpy skin, rashes, and more. “It feels so good when I massage it on my skin, I love to use it all over my body”. Healthy Girls Breast oil contains three flower essential oils, Geranium, Lavender, and Rose and five more quality essential oils each with a particular purpose to nurture and protect breast health. It’s that time of the year… insects everywhere!! Information about personal blends, including Insect Away, Insect Away Mist, Bug Bite Relief can be found Here My Insect Away blends are made with Lemongrass, Rose Geranium, Lavender, Cedar wood and Eucalyptus.
GREAT TIP: I understand using Geranium neat over the dog’s hair and on his feet will keep the ticks from going down to his skin. The ticks are easy to pick off! Have you tried Pure Vanilla to keep the gnats from flying around your face? I use Pure Vanilla Extract, Lemongrass, Geranium and Blue Mel, an Australian Blend, from Plant Extracts International. My husband says it works as good as smoking a cigar! So if you don’t smoke cigars you may want to try Pure Vanilla in a mister.
For the man in your life: Healthy Guy for Father’s Day. Healthy Guy is created to calm nervous anxiety, offers emotional balance, clarity of thought, and is an aid for prostrate and respiratory congestion. Shop
Hmmm, vanilla or a cigar…tough choice… lol! I’ll take vanilla any day. I love the fact that essential oils work on the spirit. I know just looking a beautiful flowers and plants works on mine! Thanks for great information Joyce.

Yes, I’ll take vanilla anytime. I’m not fond of cigar smoke. But it can be soothing for a fisherman I guess. LOL
Have a great week. I spend as much free time as I can in my flower gardens too, because that is where I get my contentment.
Thanks for commenting.
This interests me! I have pterty sensitive skin, though; the only store-bought soap I can use is Dove Sensitive Skin or stuff from Lush. Would this stuff work for me, do you think?
I love Ylang Ylang – didn’t know about Vanilla and gnats. Love Geranium too. I use it in a body oil blend which includes fennel and cedar and a few other things too.You remind me of the power of essential oils. THank you.
Caitriona, I have a Balancing Mist blend that includes Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Fennel, and Tangerine.
It is a great refresher and many women like to spritz it on their neck and skin. I can be worn as a perfume!
Thanks for sharing your comment about essential oils.
Thanks for such great information Joyce! What do you suggest for mosquito repellent? They get bad in the mountains of Colorado. After reading this, I definitely think I need some Geranium in my life–stability + calm sounds heavenly!
Thanks Katie, I’m just answering an old post. Geranium is excellent for a insect/mosquito repellent. I like to use a blend because it works synergistic addresses more than one aspect of a condition. On my website I have an effective insect repellent. Insect Away oil or in a spritzer. aromatherapynaturesway.com The oil will last a bit longer on the skin..
Thank You! I so enjoyed reading this! I get the sense that you are a natural with it. And there is no doubt that you know of which you speak. And you also have help here for pets!
